98 infiniti i 30 my tape player works but my cd player shows error and i need alarm help?

does anyone know whats wrong with the cd player and i bought it from someone and they only gave me the key i know it has an alarm so i can just buy it off ebay does anyone know how much it will cost to get programmed or do i have to program it
