Does she like me or not?

Well im in a high school junior and recently i became good friends with this girl in cl. And inevitably i think ive fallen in love with her. Shes got a great personality and is quite pretty in my opinion. I was just hoping someone (hopefully girls) would try to help me interpret her feelings. She's always nice to me, as i am to her. She's opened up to me a number of times with her problems on msn/facebook and seems to enjoy my company there. Unfortunately, she is quite shy at school. She does smile and laugh when i make jokes but so do her friends. She never teases me cause she is just so nice. I dont "hang out" with her but i do talk to her occasionally. I've often been giggled around when im sitting next to her and her friends. I get weird questions sometimes asked by her. And just the other day i think she was trying to subtly give me her number. When ever i talk to her at school its often cut short by teachers sayin shut up or one of my friends thinking its the end of the world that i talk to a girl. The last thing i need is for my feelings to be known by everyone without me telling her first. Im just so unsure because all these things may just be signs that im good friends with her. Please please help anyone. Its driving me crazy. Thanks.
