Should we name our son Weston or Winston?

Personally I think that the full name Weston is more original than Winston, but I can see where you are coming from with the nickname thing and I agree with you that Wynn is way cuter than Wes. Have you thought about calling him West instead? I realize that's not much different but I think it's kind of cute too. However, if the nickname is what you're going to be calling him by majority of the time, then you should go with Winston because Wynn is just too adorable:) Ultimately it's your choice and you should name your child whatever the two of you find most fitting for him:)
