Just a random stray thought?

I was thinking a couple of days ago, and a random thought came into my head. I came up with the idea that light is a form of radiation. Of course I have no idea if this is correct or not, and I was just thinking at random, but there's brainstorming for you. But who knows? What do you think of that idea?
