Lupe's "Dumb It Down?....?

Do you think Lupe's Dumb It Down had a secret message to it? Because the lyrics ain't really str8 forward when trying to get a point across. I understand 1/2 the lyrics with the hook...but the rest leaves me out there....What do you think?
