Why did i get gall stones?

My, my.... a lot of information to guide us there. Are you female? Are you fat? Are you around 40 years of age? Those are the three characteristics most commonly found in gallstone patients: the 3 F's: Female, Fat, Forty. It is also commonly found in people who have lost a lot of weight, such as after people have stomach stapling surgery, for example. But, ANYONE can get gallstones at ANY age. Nothing is chiseled in stone.
