World wide question, is there a drought in your part of the world, testing a theory?

What world-wide drought? No drought here. Had 969 mm of total precipitation in the past 12 months (I looked it up just for you), which is pretty well bang on normal (950-1000 mm, or about a meter per year in this area between the great lakes and the Atlantic ocean (St Lawrence River valley)).
