Did Nostradamus hint at something greater than we know, that religion had gone afoul, the sword of truth ...?

No, Nostradamus was simply a fraud who is best-known for vague verses in "Centuries" that can mean almost anything and therefore actually mean nothing. His reason for using codes was to allow his verses to be interpreted so many ways that he'd seem to be correct regardless of what happened. He made some specific predictions and was so badly wrong it's obvious even to most believers in "balle". Leonardo (not "Da Vinci") was lefthanded, so he wrote in an efficient manner with the quill pens at his disposal, and there's nothing mystical about it. Only such frauds as Dan Brown try to say otherwise. I speak French, so I know you're on the wrong track here. "Roi" means "King" and is pronounced "Rwah" not "Roh", and it most certainly wouldn't be used for a woman. French has "Riene" for that. I suggest that you study French before you get further off the track with this balle". There's no valid reason to even consider any of this farfetched "balle" you give here. You obviously don't know even basic French, so you can't tell us any meanings in a language in which you make so many awful errors. I suspect that you're just pasting some "balle' from frauds' websites and/or books. There's much "balle" out there about Nostradamus Le Roi Des Charlatans. No human is clairvoyant, and it's quite clear how Nostradamus received his inspirations. He often just commented about events of his time in obscure language to confuse the issue. "Obscurantism" mistakes obscurity for profundity. The answer to any and all of your questions is a resounding "NON, c'est merde vraiment" in French.
